The Protx VeriSecurePayment (VSP) system is available in four different formats: VSP Form, VSP Server, VSP Direct, and VSP Terminal. Each provides a different interface through which you and your website can connect, depending on your needs and circumstances. You will be asked to select which of these systems you want to use when you apply for your Protx account. Our fifth product, VSP Admin, is a comprehensive account administration and reporting tool which is provided free of charge with all VSP products.

VSP Form is the most popular solution and is recommended to merchants who share hosting facilities run from third party servers or who use client-side shopping carts such as Actinic.

VSP Server is recommended to merchants who wish to run their own order and transaction reports on their servers, but do not wish to invest in their own digital certificate nor collect credit card details on their own website.

VSP Direct is recommended to merchants who wish to keep customers on their own website for the entire transaction process and/or who wish to create their own customised reports. This system is suitable for merchants who wish to integrate a payment system into existing back office payment software such as a call centre.

VSP Terminal is recommended to merchants who wish to accept orders via the telephone, fax or mail order and who do not have their own call centre software. VSP Terminal is provided free of charge with each of the other solutions as a back up to website orders providing you have a Mail Order Telephone Order (MOTO) merchant account set up on your Protx account.

VSP Admin is a comprehensive account administration and reporting tool which is provided free of charge with all VSP products.
